Care And Share Foundation
- Uganda
is
an independent, indigenous non-governmental organization with the
prime mandate of providing an education -- formal and/or vocational
-- to desperately poor, neglected and forgotten orphans whose
parents have died of AIDS
and other calamities.
We also assist children with AIDS and widows that have lost
their husbands to AIDS and most of them HIV+ themselves.
We are situated in
the village called Lwanda in Jinja district,
which is in the eastern part of Uganda -- a two-hour drive from
Entebbe International airport and one hour from Kampala, the capital
city of Uganda. When you reach Lwanda village, you ask for the
Church of Christ, all our ministries are situated there. We will be
happy to hear from you or rather to meet you. Mukama akuwe Omukisa!
(Literally meaning God bless!)
.
Many people here
have died from the civil wars and some are dying from AIDS. It is
the duty of Christians to help console these children. We take it
as an opportunity to help where we can and dig into these
children's lives for with God's gospel of love. Lets
consider it an opportunity to be part of this ministry.
Our
greatest need is for direct financial support to orphans in schools
and those soon going to school. However, if you have
some clothes or shoes, blankets, books or you can volunteer to
construct a home or school structures for the orphans, Contact
us

the cause of the weak and the fatherless.
