1 Peter 4: 10 - Each one should use whatever gift he
has received to serve others, faithfully, administering God's grace in its
various form.
Our church is growing in Busoga, Uganda! We are growing
in numbers, in strength, and in faith. There are so many exciting things
starting to happen with in this movement in Busoga and this will continue into
the future. You can expect to see people in our community who put their faith
into practice demonstrating special kind of unity.

This is the church that seek to bring
the light of practical gospel to the world. It is the church which is
raising above all. our mission field is holistic, we seek souls that
need to be reached for Christ. We organize our ministries into ten
focused terms which include worship, discipleship, children, youth,
academy, property, management, care giving, community ministries,
missions, and evangelism.
One of our church guiding principle is that; church befriends
unbelievers. That means that every member is challenged to develop a
friendship with a neighbor or co-worker that would eventually give them
an opportunity to share what Christ means to them.
"Church of Christ- Lwanda, exists for the harvest. We are called
to enlist, encourage, equip, and empower workers to participate in the
great commission" The church is committed to the serving of the
unsaved people of this world and showing them practical love of Jesus
Christ in order to obey the command given in Mathew 28: 18-20 by making disciples
of all men.
WORSHIP
Psalms 113
“ Praise the Lord! Praise o servants of the lord praise
the name of the lord…both now and forever more. From the rising of the sun to
place where it sets, the name of the lord is to be praised…”
Our church can vividly be called a worshiping church. We
believe in worship as a way and a means of communicating with God. He surely
inhabits the praises of his people, for when the praise goes up, his presence
comes down. No wonder we have placed such an emphasis on the entire
congregation. We are proud of the worshiping together and we have seen the lord
move among us through the praises and worship.
MOVING ON AFTER BAD THING HAPPEN
TO OUR CHURCH MEMBER
We sat down and asked our selves how we can show love
amidst our selves and the world around us. All that we had to do is to
register Care And Share Foundation Uganda under our local church at Lwanda
village- Jinja to Kamuli Road. We agreed that we can receive meaning and true
feelings of what we express by having a place that can bring us together and in
contact with orphans, elderly people, poor needy to discuss the validity and
meaning of our experience in the almighty God. And most important of all to care
and share for/with them generously.
"One patient, who felt her self to be friendless, wept
saying, 'when good things happen, I have no one to tell.' We all need some one
to share with our victories, to make them complete. Achievement without witness
is still hollow, as hurt is still bitter when no one offers solace." Attend
unto my cry; for am brought very low. Psalm 141: 1
Every one has wished for second chance to start over. A
woman whose marriage has been ruined because of an affair, a man who is in legal
trouble because of some shady dealings - people in these situations often cry
aloud with the desire "If only I could have another chance!"
Some situations cannot be put back in their original state.
Some children have lost their parents forever. Some elderly people will never be
strong again to be able to do their work normally. Some sinful deeds have
imposed their own cruel penalties (e.g. injury, dismemberment, or death) which
can never be reversed. What are we asking when we cry for a chance to start over
again?
fresh start over can not bethought in terms of a science
fiction, "time machine". Even God cannot undo yesterday, erase what
has happened from history and let a person relive wasted days or reclaim lost
opportunities.
However, it is possible for the past to be forgiven,
overcome, and over shadowed. Think of Saul of Tarsus. He could not relive that
period of his life during which he blasphemed Jesus and persecuted Christians;
he could not bring Steven back to life. But he could acknowledge his sin and
receive Jesus. (Phil. 3:14b - 16)
Having experienced this "fresh start" in his own
life, Paul was able to write with intense feeling about the reality of
"newness of life" (Rom. 6:4. He could say: "Therefore, if any one
is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away, behold the new has
come" (2 Cor. 5: 17).
